Strength & Conditioning
Group Fitness classes for all walks of life
Our strength and conditioning classes are 60 minute group sessions with the goal of increasing your strength, ability to move, and cardio capacity by utilizing a combination of weights, body weight movements, and various equipment. Every day is a new workout designed to increase your fitness week after week and all workouts can be scaled to fit your comfort and ability.
Some of our favorite things to do during out workouts are squats, deadlifts, bench press, pullups, pushups, lunges, kettlebell movements, presses, running, jump rope, biking, rowing, ab wheels, planks with various movements, rope climbs, sled push/pulls or just some good old fashioned jumps. If something doesn't work for you, we can adapt all our workouts to fit your needs.
What to expect your first class
If you’ve considered trying a class but aren’t sure it’s for you, here’s what you can expect:
-
Our current members span all ages and fitness levels including college kids, athletes, moms, dads, grandmoms & grandpops - everyone is welcome!
-
Class sizes range from 2 to 15 people. First thing in the morning and early evening are our busier times while mid-morning is lighter.
-
Every class has a coach to help you through your first workout. Not the kind that goes around screaming in your face either, that’s not our style.
-
The workouts for each class are written out on the board for reference and every member goes at their own pace.
-
It’s you vs. you, coaches and other members are there to offer support, not to compete with you.
-
We are always happy to walk you through an exercise, guide your form or answer any questions.
-
If something doesn’t feel right, we’ll be right there to show you a modification or recommend a safe weight/form to prevent injury.
-
You will probably find it pretty easy to connect with class members. We’re a clique-free environment and genuinely want to see each other succeed.
