Our group classes are designed to hit strength and conditioning with the aim of improving cardiovascular & respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Our members come from all different backgrounds and abilities and our coaches know exactly how to tailor and tweak the workout to be safe and efficient.

FOR THE BEGINNER BOOMERS

We care more about your safety and knowledge of the movements more than lifting heavy. Start with some one on one education and health assessments.

FOR THE FIT-FOCUSED BOOMERS

Our combination of strength training and conditioning will have you burning more calories in a shorter time span than any treadmill could ever do.

FOR THE POWER BOOMERS

Become more stronger than you ever thought imaginable. Our coaches are trained in solving the problems of plateauing and will push you to new personal bests.

Sonic Boom is the first gym with classes that I’ve ever joined ... The classes push me way more than I can ever push myself. I have felt myself become so much stronger. The instructors ensure that you understand the workouts & perform the exercises correctly to prevent injury. It’s been an awesome experience!

PERSONAL TRAINING

If you're looking to strengthen and concentrate on a specific part of your body, prefer to work out in a one-on-one environment, or are trying to rehab an injury, our personal training offers a more personalized environment. Learn more about our coaches and schedule a session with them.

SEASONAL BARBELL CLASSes

We occasionally offer a more-focused olympic weightlifting class for those that are looking to perfect their form and become stronger lifters. Our barbell classes are taught by a professional weightlifter that knows the in and outs to maximize your ability.

OPEN GYM MEMBERSHIPS

If you simply want to take advantage of our giant facility and equipment so that you can do your own thing, an open gym membership might just be for you. We'll still consider you part of the Sonic Boom family. Contact us or pop in the gym to learn more.

WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGES

Sometimes the best motivation is a little competition. We like to hold weight loss challenges throughout the year to help members achieve new goals. Members are put into groups and get help from our coaches to tweak their nutrition and help keep them driven. It's not just about the number of pounds lost either, we take into consideration measurements and score on a number of factors. In the past, winners have won up to $300, depending on the size of the pot.

NUTRITION CLASSES

Our coaches will get a group together to talk about what goes on outside of the gym, and help to dispel and debunk common nutrition myths. Find out if fats are good for you (they are) and work with our coaches to tailor a nutrition plan that will work for your lifestyle while delivering results.
